Ricky Shore – President & CEO
Ricky joined Aladdin Travel in April 2004, following a 25-year banking career with Wachovia. He completed the purchase of Aladdin Travel in November 2012. Ricky enjoys bringing the value of travel management to Aladdin Travel clients through analytics of savings, safety, and service. He is committed to Aladdin Travel’s beliefs and to continuing Aladdin Travel’s success. Ricky enjoys volunteering in the community and has served as president of the Winston-Salem Rotary Club, as a board member and president (2012-13) of the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem and most recently completed a 6 year term with the Tourism and Development Authority as board member and Board Chair. Presently, Ricky and his wife Sally are co-chairs of the Salemtowne Retirement Community Pathways Capital Campaign. Ricky also serves as Chairman of the Novant Foundation Board and is a newly appointed member of the Forsyth County BB&T advisory board. He enjoys traveling and has most recently spent time in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Cuba.
Elizabeth joined Aladdin in 1999 and has experience in leisure, corporate, and group travel. She has a background in finance (12 years) and extensive travel management experience (18 years), which helps her optimize clients’ travel programs, given the complexity and challenges of business travel management. She is passionate about sharing her travel experiences and believes that traveling the world with an open mind changes one’s perspective and can create memorable and life-changing experiences.
Sarahbeth Roberts, CMP – Director Meetings and Events
Sarahbeth started with Aladdin in 2009 and has been in the industry since 2003 working in Raleigh, NC, Washington, DC and now Winston-Salem, NC. Sarahbeth has spearheaded and planned meetings and events of all sizes from national sales trainings for 2,500 employees of a Fortune 200 corporation to high-touch corporate board meetings for 50. In her years at Aladdin, Sarahbeth has helped the Meetings and Events Department grow in client base and profitability. Sarahbeth enjoys building and maintaining client relationships and she brings enthusiasm and hard work to any challenge. When not working, Sarahbeth enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.
Liz Hensley – General Manager – Human Resources and Accounting – Vice President Liz has been with Aladdin Travel since 1988 and has served in all roles of travel management including corporate agent, on-site agent for Hanes and R.J. Reynolds tobacco, agent GDS trainer, GDS contractual negotiations, back office accounting and interfacing, customer service and operational excellence. Liz has completed numerous leadership seminars and currently leads Aladdin as its Vice President and fulfills the role of General Manager, Human Resources and Accounting.
Emily Dunn, CMM – Director Group and Student Travel Emily joined Aladdin in 2004 and her favorite destinations are Africa, Italy, anywhere in the Caribbean and Costa Rica. Emily loves to travel with her family, has extensive international travel experience and is passionate about helping others explore the world. Emily has managed events and coordinated students all over the globe. Whether it is a high touch board meeting abroad, a specialized educational study program or a large medical convention in the Caribbean, Emily brings her passion for travel and industry knowledge to work for every single client.
Michelle Stiles – Director of Technology & Operational Excellence Michelle joined Aladdin in 2007 after ten years in the travel department of Lowe’s Home Improvement where she oversaw implementation of technologies and a team of on-site agents. Since joining Aladdin, Michelle has grown and oversees a team that ensures Aladdin technology is deployed to the individual specifications of each client. Aladdin offers the leading industry technologies and Michelle differentiates its delivery by providing unparalleled support that is immediately and directly available. Michelle serves on the Amadeus Corporate Advisory Board, ASTA communications team, and Friends of Blue Ridge Parkway Board. Michelle and her husband enjoy spending time with their three boys on the ball field in their spare time.
Richard Shore – Controller, CPA Richard joined Aladdin in 2016 after five years in public accounting where he supervised financial statement audits of private companies in a variety of industries. Richard received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in North Carolina. His role at Aladdin Travel primarily consists of improving the capture, flow and reporting of information for Aladdin and its clients. Richard and his wife enjoy serving the local community, travelling, sports, and spending time with their daughter.
