We didn’t meet George Jetson, his boy Elroy, daughter Judy or even Jane his wife, but we COULD have!
Ricky and I have been to Scottsdale many times, but never have we stayed in a place like The Valley Ho! Walking in the front door, we were quickly taken back to a younger time. The Valley Ho opened in 1956 and was popular way back when! It has since been renovated and is a “must see”. It has a modern yet retro 50s look. Clean, cool, crisp and loaded with service!
Drinks and eats at Café ZuZu were relaxing and the outdoor fireplaces added to the atmosphere. It’s a great place to visit with friends.
Ricky played golf in the area and of course, I HAD to check out the VH Spa. I don’t think of myself as a “spa” person, but I have to admit that after finishing a “good read” and soaking in the resort hot tub, the massage was wonderful! I don’t understand why they always seem to be over so quickly!
Our final dinner was at Eddie’s House. This restaurant boasts different flavorful dishes! We met Eddie himself and will definitely return! Try it! You WILL like it!
