Meetings regularly take Ricky and me to the Phoenix area and over time, we have visited several properties and enjoyed many tasty dishes!
The Royal Palms was our home base. A tile roof, subdued lights, desert plants, sunset colors, red rock, desert flowers, outdoor fireplaces, fountains and more decorate this quaint Spanish colonial resort. Located at the base of Camelback Mountain, one can attend meetings, take day trips, hike Camelback and of course relax. It has a spa!
The meeting space was perfect for our two day event and breaking for lunch could not have been easier. T. Cook’s did a fabulous job getting our group in and out without rushing. Real palm trees grow through the ceiling.
At night, the lights dim, the fires burn… this resort could not be more alluring.
I would have been fine dining on property every night, but we were introduced to Cowboy Ciao. This dining experience is not to be missed. Order the Stetson Chopped Salad. I came home, found a recipe and another recipe....and have prepared it three times in a month. SS
