White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia is about three and a half hours from Winston-Salem. It's an easy drive with The Greenbrier at the finish line. Hospitality greeted us as we got out of the car and continued throughout our entire stay...opened doors, delivered luggage, bottled water, afternoon tea, a birthday treat and a BEAUTIFUL suite....

The food is remarkable! We enjoyed the Diningroom, Prime 44 West and Draper's...twice! The kitchen shop on the lobby level was a the perfect place to pick up an early morning bagel, watch a few food "demos" and even pick up a kitchen gadget or two....or more...

Need activity? Horseback riding, carriage rides, bowling, tennis, swimming (indoors and out), exercise classes, shuffleboard, croquet, hiking, shopping, fire place sitting, movie watching in The Greenbrier theater, Friday night comedy shows, Bunker tours and golf fill the list.

I forgot to mention the Casino....easy to do...it's not your typical Las Vegas casino. Blackjack, roulette and QUIET, except for the occasional clinking coin sound, slot machines are down the stairs. You have to take a peek!
