Myra Makes A Mark On Her Bucket List...Los Cabos!

One of the places I had on my bucket list was Los Cabos and in May, I was very fortunate to travel there. My journey went without a hitch. I flew from Greensboro to Atlanta and then enjoyed a non-stop flight to Los Cabos.

Los Cabos is on the southernmost tip of the Baja California peninsula and is on Mountain Standard Time. The people are so friendly! Spanish is the official language, but English is widely spoken.  This tropical playground for the world’s elite is The view from my hotel!mountainous and desert like. The warm waters of the Sea of Cortez meet the Pacific so the weather is great! We stayed at the Barcelo Palace.  Check out the view from my window. The Sea of Cortez!

Fishing is guaranteed to be quite the experience in Los Cabos.  It is the "Marlin Capital of the World" and if you are not fishing you can sail, snorkel, surf, water-ski, windsurf, kayak, ride horses and or zip lines... I’ve left off a few....whale watching and of course golf!

Destination wedding?  Incentive travel?  Company meeting or Continued Education? Los Cabos has many beautiful resorts from which to choose!

A Tale of Two Cities: Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo!

Cabo San Lucas started as a simple fishing resort but is now known internationally as a beautiful beach resort with some of the most thrilling water sports anywhere. Just offshore is the area’s iconic landmark El Arco (The Arch), a El Arcowave-sculpted rock formation. With lots of shopping opportunities and wonderful restaurants, this area is livelier, especially at night!  San Jose del Cabo is the older of the two cities and more traditional with its cobblestone alleys. It is quite “laid-back.” Here too, you will find restaurants, shops and hotels.

Note: Mexico has had some bad press.  Los Cabos is 1000 miles away from the border and I felt perfectly safe the entire time.  MF
