"Ricky, I wanted to let you know that Tonia outdid herself in helping me in a recent emergency travel situation.  Tonia has helped me for years on all of my regular travel.  I’ve had her cell phone “just in case” for years and years and never used it.  Last week, I was bumped off my 6am flight and it was not a pretty situation.  I tried the 24 hour line and no one answered.  Almost without thinking, I hit Tonia’s cell phone number and then realized what I had done and hung up.  Little did I know that my 5:30 Eastern time was 4:30 am at her house and she was in bed very much asleep.  Within a minute, she called me back.  As I apologized, she was pulling up her computer and getting people on the line to solve my problem.  I ultimately made it to my destination for an important presentation.  I should also note that Debbie (another agent) helped me between 11 and 1 the night before and later the next day as I had other flights cancelled as well.  Your team has always taken great care of me and I appreciate them.  I felt you should know!"  12/9/11

I was unfortunately seated a the rear of the plane and knew I’d be at the end of a very long line at special services by the time we deplaned.  I called the after hours number while I was still on board and within 15 minutes, they had me booked on another flight to my destination (Tampa). The following day, I was scheduled to depart Tampa at 330pm and I received a last minute request ... to visit ...[a] client.  Again, I called in and spoke to one of your representatives who not only put me on a later flight, but was able to get the $150 change fee waived.  I know your people live in a world where the best day is one during which nothing goes wrong, so I thought you’d appreciate hearing some kind words of appreciation.
