Management Team

Richard E. Shore, Jr. is the President & CEO of Aladdin Travel. He joined Aladdin Travel in April 2004 with responsibilities for corporate sales and marketing. He previously served as Senior Vice President for Wachovia Bank, working as market president in Forsyth County and retail banking director with overall responsibility for 41 branches and small business banking in the Piedmont Triad Region. Ricky is active in the community, having served as President of the Winston-Salem Rotary Club, on the Board of the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem and DataMax Corporation and Foundation. Additionally Ricky has helped in fund raising efforts for R. J. Reynolds High School & Auditorium, United Way of Forsyth County, Senior Services, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church the YMCA of Northwest NC and Arbor Acres Retirement Home.  Ricky and his wife Sally enjoy traveling, with and without family!  Memories of crepes in Paris, the Cotswolds outside of London, golf in Scotland, biking in Holland and sightseeing in Spain abound. Nancy Dunn is the Founder of Aladdin Travel and Meeting Planners. Nancy has grown a strong, experienced travel agency team, many of whom have been with the company for 15 years or more. This has allowed Aladdin Travel to offer an exceptionally high level of service.  Nancy is active in community affairs and is a past president of the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and the Winston-Salem Piedmont Triad Symphony as well as a number of other community organizations.  She has served on the NCDOT board for the past 8+ years, and is on BB&T’s Local Winston-Salem Advisory Board.  Nancy is actively involved in the long-range planning strategies of the company and Aladdin's clients’ travel management needs.  During her almost 40 years in the travel industry, Nancy has literally traveled the globe.  Her daughters often traveled with her so it’s no surprise that Catherine and Emily are today involved in planning meetings and group tours for Aladdin clients.  Among her favorite destinations are Italy and Israel. 

Liz Hensley is Aladdin’s Accounting and Human Resource Manager. She joined the Aladdin family in 1988 and is certified in Senior Human Resource Management. Her favorite destinations are Italy, Switzerland, and the Caribbean. Liz is from Winston-Salem. Gardening, reading, recovering antique furniture, as well as being a mother and grandmother are her greatest joys. Liz enjoys helping and meeting new people, and is very creative.  336-499-6715

Elizabeth Holleman is Vice President of Client Services and is responsible for account management for Aladdin’s corporate clients.  She joined Aladdin in 1999 and has experience in leisure, corporate, and group travel.  She has a background in finance and extensive travel experience, which helps her optimize clients’ travel programs, given the complexity and challenges of business travel management. In her spare time, Elizabeth loves to travel; she feels passionately that travel can be a life-changing experience as long as you allow it to be.  If asked about her favorite place, her reply will be “my next destination.”  Elizabeth agrees wholeheartedly with this quote from Mark Twain:  “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.  So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover.”  336-510-7621

Tony Holloway is our Incentive Sales & Leisure Vacation Sales Manager. He joined Aladdin in 2012 and has a background in marketing, real estate, and travel. He is responsible for helping businesses build management tools directed toward unleashing human potential through extraordinary motivational experiences in which travel is a key component. Additionally, he leads our leisure team in providing exceptional fiduciary service to our clients. Tony loves to play golf, camp & hike, grill, participate in water sports, support the NFL Carolina Panthers, and travel. He has escorted incentive groups to Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Monte Carlo, Maui, the Caribbean, and numerous domestic destinations. Tony says "there is something very magical about a company spending several days in a special setting with their top performers and top clients. The value in the experience motivates, rejuvenates, and leaves everyone with a true sense of value". Michelle Stiles manages the Technology and Operational Excellence Group and is passionate about helping clients solve complex travel-technology issues.  Michelle joined ATMP in 2007 after working in Corporate Travel for Lowe’s Home Improvement for 10 years.  Michelle is from Hamptonville, NC. In her free time she enjoys watching her boys play sports, NC Mountains, traveling and riding bikes. Michelle is on the ASTA Communications Team and also serves on the board with Friends of Blue Ridge Parkway. 336-499-6732

Emily Dunn Verheyen manages the Groups and Meetings Department (Planning and Logistics). She joined Aladdin in 2004 and her favorite destinations are Africa, Italy, anywhere in the Caribbean and Costa Rica. Emily loves to travel with her family. Emily has extensive international travel experience and is passionate about helping others explore the world. Helping people get out of their comfort zones and exposing them to new and unique experiences is the most fulfilling part of her job. Rebecca Woltz is Aladdin's Sales and Account Manager.  She joined the Aladdin family in 2006 and has been in the industry over twenty years. Her favorite destination is Figure 8 Island and when she is not doing laundry and keeping up with teenagers, she enjoys swimming, laughing and time with friends. Gale Adouli is an Independent Travel Consultant specializing in Group travel, Destination Weddings, honeymoons and family vacations. A Winston-Salem native, she graduated from UNCG with a B.A. in Communications, and began her travel career over 30 years ago in 1980 as a flight attendant with Piedmont Airlines. With Piedmont, Gale also worked as an associate at the Washington D.C. ticket counter, was a Reservations Sales Supervisor, and a Marketing Supervisor with US Airways.  Gale’s multiple years in the industry led her to open Great Getaways Travel in 2002. Since then, she has worked with a number of business clients in the Triad:  including Twin City Soccer as their premier travel agent for tournaments and group travel for all the local YMCA’s . Her extensive travel background enhances her ability to custom design the perfect getaway for you!  She loves traveling with her husband and two children and has recently visited Paris, Rome, Aruba, St Croix and Riviera Maya, Mexico.  She is actively involved at River Oaks Community Church and enjoys volunteering at the Clemmons Food Bank.  336-778-0349

Pat Blalock works as support to all aspects of Aladdin, wearing many hats. She joined the Aladdin family in 1996 and her favorite destinations include Africa, China and Croatia. Pat is originally from Louisiana. Kimberly Bryant is a Corporate Travel Advisor. She has been with Aladdin since 1999 and in the travel industry since 1994. Kimberly  is married and has two wonderful children.  She is quite traveled and has experienced China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Turkey, Great Britain, France, Germany, Caribbean and Mexico. Julia Buie is a Corporate Travel Advisor who started her career in the travel industry in 1984 and has been in the Aladdin family for 12 years.  Julia is married and has three children, ages 18, 14 and 11.  She enjoys traveling in the United State – Glacier Park MT and the Grand Canyon – San Francisco, Washington DC and Disneyworld  (Lots of family fun!), but she also loves London, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales and Italy. “As a child my parents took my family on great trips.  We traveled by rail a lot of the time and I have made 3 transcontinental rail trips to the west coast.  I have traveled to 49 states and only lack going to Alaska which I hope to do soon! Jackie Bumgarner joined Aladdin in 2012, after an 18 year career in Human Resources with Lowe’s Home Improvement.  Her passion for travel offers her the opportunity to spend more time with family, show her children the world and build a new career. Jackie places a high value on learning and educating, and she sees travel as a facilitator of knowledge.  She resides in Mooresville with her husband Mark and their 2 boys.  She enjoys hiking, biking, golfing and wakeboarding with family and friends.  Jackie is an Independent Travel Consultant and will be focusing on Hawaii, Caribbean, all inclusive resorts, Disney, and family travel.

Susan Canter has been a Corporate Travel Advisor with Aladdin Travel since 1993. "I started off with corporate and vacation, but quickly became corporate only. I enjoy traveling and have been lucky to visit many destinations, including Hawaii, Czech Republic, China, Italy, England, Caribbean Islands and Mexico. Tove Christopher is an International Travel & Luxury Cruise Specialist. She joned the Aladdin family in 1986 and started in the Industry in 1965. She has so many favorite destinations! The list includes Norway, Italy, Austria, Mallorca, Africa, Singapore, Bali, Hong Kong and China. In addition, she loves sailing on cruises and prefers smaller upscale ships. Tove was born and raised in Norway. In 1965, she began working for Bennett Tours until the fall of 1972. She moved to Winston-Salem to marry her husband and lives in Clemmons. Tove loves to take walks at Tanglewood Park, visit the Outer Banks, shop and visit Norway annually. Tove has traveled extensively over the years by land and cruise ships. Christy Clark is a Corporate Travel Advisor who joined Aladdin in 1999 with the acquisition of North Point Travel.  She is a Certified Travel Counselor with 26 years of experience in corporate travel and meeting planning.  Over the years, she has visited some interesting places including China, Thailand, Hong Kong, France, Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas, Grand Cayman, and many places in the United States.  During her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and searching out new vineyards and farmers markets.  Kayaking the New River with her husband, and time with her two teenage sons, friends, and Boomer, the wonder dog, also top her leisure activity list!   336-499-6720

Theresa Coffey works in Account and Service Management. She joined the Aladdin team in May of  2011 after relocating from Indian Trail, N.C.  She has been in the industry for 26 years.  She has visited Mexico, Canada, Caribbean, Europe and 28 of the United States…NH, VT, ME, MA, CT, PA, NJ, NY, MD, RI, IL, OH, VA, NC, SC, TN, GA, CO, WY, SD, ND, CA, AZ, FL, TX, DE, MO and KS!  When asked about a favorite, Theresa replied, “I’ve enjoyed them all and can’t pick just one!” When not in the office or traveling, she takes care of her sixteen year old twin daughters, Megan and Morgan, her husband Barry and their West Highland Terrier ("Westie"), Chloe.  The Coffeys are huge University of Tennessee Vols fans.  Go Big Orange!    336-499-6725

Dawn Coyne is an Independent Travel Consultant who specializes in Disney Destination Travel, Adventure Vacations, and All Inclusive Vacations.  Dawn has spent the last 20 years traveling throughout North America, Mexico, and Europe.  She comes to Aladdin with 10 years of experience at US Airways in the International Reservations and Customer Relations departments, and is a UNC Greensboro graduate with a bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism and Commercial Recreation.  Her knowledge and experience with international and domestic travel provide valuable insight to make the most of your vacation. Patrick Craven graduated from Elon University with degrees in History & Religious Studies. He joined the Aladdin family in March 2011. Patrick works with our Study Abroad and Group Travel clients.  His favorite destinations include Italy, Ireland, Mexico and England. Lindsey Davis has been with Aladdin Travel since 2007 and works with the Sales and Marketing Team, assists the Client Services Division on data analysis, and coordinates meetings for groups of 20-30. She loves to travel and has been to Canada, France, Italy, Bermuda, and has cruised with Royal Carribean and Holland America. Lindsey’s favorite destinations include Paris, France, Bermuda and Canouan Island in the Grenadines. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Lindsey and her husband welcomed a baby girl in August of 2010. Sarahbeth Derrick is a Senior Meeting Planner; she started with Aladdin in 2009 and has been in the industry since 2003. Her favorite destinations are the Caribbean and Europe. Sarahbeth is originally from Asheboro, NC and enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends. With her recent purchase of a first home, she has a new found love of hunting for bargains and restoring old pieces. Cheryl Everhart joined Aladdin in 2007 and has over 17 years of experience in assisting clients with individual, family, group and business incentive travel. She is a Group Travel and Meeting Planner, Luxury Leisure Travel Advisor, and a member of Aladdin's Study Abroad team. Cheryl is an expert in luxury travel and thrives on sharing her first hand experiences and recommendations. Her experiences, personal knowledge and connections around the globe give her the ability to customize itineraries to each client’s desires with a focus on outstanding customer service. Cheryl has traveled throughout Mexico, Europe, Hawaii, Central America and the Caribbean.  Her favorite destination is the Greek Isles.  Ephesus is one of the most memorable places I have visited.  336-499-6736

Diane Fergerson is a Corporate Travel Advisor. She joined the Aladdin family in 2004 and started in the industry in 1976. Her favorite destinations include the Caribbean and Mexico. She has lived in High Point all of her life. In her free time, she loves to work out at the gym. Exercising regenerates her and releases stress. It makes her feel refreshed again! Nancy Fuller is an Independent Travel Consultant who joined Aladdin in September 2008. She has traveled a great deal and organized family (50+) vacations for years.  Nancy has enjoyed Europe and Mexico.  Disney World is her absolute favorite.  She has been over 200 times, including nine times with her one year old.  One of Nancy’s strengths includes planning experiences for families with disabled children or adults.  Physical and mental disabilities make traveling harder for people but it CAN be done with a little more planning and knowledge. A large portion of her Disney business revolves around this idea.  In addition to working at Aladdin, Nancy owns a bookkeeping business. Myra Franklin works in the Accounting Department and is Aladdin’s premier Hotel Consultant. She started with Aladdin in 1990. Her favorite destinations are Europe, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Boston, San Francisco, New York City, Disney World, and Disneyland. She was born and raised in North Carolina and currently lives in Winston-Salem. She is married and has a beautiful daughter. I enjoy being with my family and friends, traveling, reading and exploring new adventures. Catherine Dunn George has been a Meeting and Event Planner since 1996 and joined the Aladdin family in 2005. Her favorite destinations are Italy, France, and the Caribbean. Catherine loves to travel with her family and is quickly becoming an expert on traveling with babies and toddlers. Sherrie Hamlin-Robinson and C. J. Robinson form the new dynamic duo of Marvtastic Travels. Sherrie works for Wake Forest Baptist Health. Plus, she is the sister of the late Larry Leon Hamlin who founded “The National Black Theatre Festival ‘’ in Winston Salem, N.C. which is one top attractions in the city. The other half of the team, Jay, works for Flow Automotive Group in the Internet Department. Over the years Sherrie and Jay have traveled twenty five plus cruises and plan cruises for several family members and friends. Kristi Kelly joined Aladdin in September of 2010.  Kristi has been to Aruba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Walt Disney World and New York City.  Her favorites are the Caribbean and Walt Disney World! Kristi has been married for 17 years and has three children: Zachary, Charlotte and Mary Grace.  She also has a Goldendoodle named Annabelle. When Kristi is not planning experiences for clients, she volunteers at her children's schools and watches her daughters dance and her son play baseball. Brandy King joined Aladdin in March 2008. Her favorite destination is Walt Disney World. Cruising with Disney Cruise Line is another favorite! Brandy likes photography and scrapbooking and loves spending her free time with her husand and 3 year old son. They enjoy living in The Piedmont where they have easy access to the mountains and the beaches for short weekend trips. Teri is from Winston-Salem and has identical twin daughters who have given her four grandsons. In her free time, Teri enjoys spending time at the lake boating and jet skiing. She also loves to read, good wine, and going to the movies. She enjoys traveling and hearing about others' travel experiences. Rhonda Martin is a member of the Technology and Operational Excellence Group. She has been with Aladdin since 1994 and started in the industry in 1983. Her favorite destinations include Italy, France, Africa, Portugal, Hawaii, Mexico, Nova Scotia, Monaco, Scotland, the Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands. Rhonda is a North Carolina native, who grew up in the Boone area. Rhonda has a three year old granddaughter who keeps her busy every weekend! She also loves gardening and traveling. Rhonda’s many years in the travel industry make her familiar with most airlines. Jessica Mathews is a Corporate Travel Advisor and joined the Aladdin Team on November 1, 2012.  Jessica was born and raised in North Carolina, and currently resides in Winston-Salem.  She worked for US Airways for 6 years, where she met her husband of 3 ½ years. She has traveled to Florida, New York, Michigan, Louisiana, California, Arizona, Nevada, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Mexico.  Her favorite destinations are New Orleans, Cabo and Hawaii. Joyce McKinnis joined Aladdin in 2007 and has been in the travel industry for 23 years (19 years with Piedmont Airlines/USAirways-Groups and Tours & 4 years part-time IC with Aladdin). She also teaches middle school math and her favorite places include the United Kingdom, Grand Cayman, Niagara Falls, Colorado and Bermuda. Susan Merrill is our Product Support Specialist working with the Online Booking and Solutions team.  She truly enjoys troubleshooting complex problems and finding the most efficient solution for all involved.  Susan returns to ATMP after working as a corporate agent from 1992-1997 before moving to Charlotte and then Nashville as an international agent and technology coordinator.  Susan is from North Carolina and enjoys staying very active with her husband and three dogs, who she says ARE her children.  336-499-6723

Sally Mitchener  joined Aladdin in 2011.  She is based in Charlotte, N.C. and is a Corporate Client Development Specialist.  She has close to 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and communication and has always had a passion for travel and exploration.  Sally is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, wife and mother of two teenage boys...the last of these descriptors is a declaration of never having a full week of sleep-filled nights. Beverly Moser has been with Aladdin for 6 years after 20 years with USAirways. Martha Nichols is an Independent Travel Consultant who specializes in Disney Destination Travel. Martha has attained a special knowledge of Disney Destinations through her lifetime love of Disney, personal Disney travel, and education. Her certificates include: Graduate of Disney's College of Knowledge (2008); Graduate of Disney's Walt Disney World Agent Education Program (2008); Graduate of Walt Disney World & Disney Cruise Line Agent Education Program (2009); and attendee at the 2011 Earmarked Conference for Authorized Disney Vacation Planners. Sarah Page joined Aladdin in October 2011, has been all over the United States and has visited the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Honduras, Spain, Bahamas, and Walt Disney World.  Her favorites are Walt Disney World and Williamsburg.  When Sarah is not working with clients, she enjoys “family stuff”!  She is also actively involved with a local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Gigi Phillips is a Group and Leisure Travel Advisor and a member of Aladdin's Study Abroad team. She joined Aladdin in 1978 and her favorite destinations include Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Gigi is originally from West Palm Beach. Susan Prasad joined Aladdin in 2012, is originally from Walnut Cove, NC, but lived in Lansing,  MI for 22 years.  Susan has two grown sons with whom she has traveled the world.  Their favorite trip was to China a few years ago.  She enjoys decorating, reading, discovering new restaurants, walking, and meeting new friends. Susan is an Independent Travel Consultant.  336-529-1876

Tina Pratt is an Independent Travel Consultant who specializes in Disney Destination Travel.  She has attained a special knowledge of Disney Destinations through her lifetime love of Disney & personal Disney travel having been to Disney more than 30 times! Kristin Redfield joined Aladdin in 2012 as an Independent Travel Consultant and is committed to making travel fun, exciting, and educational. While she has a strong desire to make homeschool families’ travel dream experiences a reality, her 15 years in education afford her the ability to make travel fit with curriculum. In addition, she has travel experience in over half of the States (including Alaska, California, and the Southeast) and seven countries that help her with anyone's travel needs. Yvonne Rickabaugh joined the Aladdin team in 2012 as an Independent Travel Consultant and looks forward to sharing a life of travel with others.  As an adult, she relocated in the United States 11 times and has taken cross-country trips in all but 2 states.  Favorite places she has lived are California and Hawaii.  While serving as an Air Force officer, Yvonne also traveled in the Far East and Europe.  After receiving her MBA and moving to the corporate world, Yvonne planned trips to sales meetings and vacations for 20+ years.  She has experienced dude ranches, ski and scuba diving trips, 12 cruises, and Europe with her husband and 2 sons and enjoys family visits in England.  One of her favorite trips was crossing the Canadian Rockies on a luxury train. When she is not traveling, she is researching more places to visit! Sally Shore joined the Aladdin Team in 2009. She writes and edits Travel Treks (aka Travel Blog) showcasing Aladdin's vast experience.  She also manages our facebook and twitter accounts.  Sally is married to Ricky Shore, has three children and one daughter in-law and enjoys traveling wherever the wind blows.  She also has a mean whistle.

Laura Slawter is an Independent Travel Consultant and joined Aladdin in 2010. Laura has lived in many places including London; Athens, Greece; Houston, Texas and Anchorage, Alaska.  She has visited Paris, Switzerland, many islands in Greece, the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, and many places in the United States including San Francisco, Napa Valley, New York City, San Antonio, Memphis, Washington DC, and the Outer Banks. Disney, which is her specialty and favorite, has been visited many times!  In her “spare” time, Laura works for Salem Academy and College and spends time with her husband, Michael and sons, James (11) and Will (5).  “I love to plan clients’ Disney World trips and make sure they have a magical experience!”  336-749-9250 

Carla Staples joined Aladdin in 1996 and has been in the travel industry for 35 years.  She’s been all over the United States…in addition to Grand Cayman, Nassau, St Lucia, Hawaii, Mexico, London, Wales, Ireland, Switzerland and France, with London being her favorite...and CUBA!  Carla was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines for 7 years and loved it. Her historical travels/memories include flying on the Cuban Refugee Run from Miami to Veradero Beach, Cuba four times a day for a month, while Castro was forcing young women/children and older adults out of the country. "It was very sad to see people leaving their loved ones behind." Carla is married with two children and two grandchildren.  When she is not at Aladdin, she loves, loves, loves to exercise (walking and various activities at the gym) and of course, traveling to see her grandchildren in Kentucky tops her list. Renee Stepp has been with Aladdin Travel for 14 years and the travel industry for 23 years. She is a Corporate Travel Advisor. Her favorite places have been Bermuda, Germany, Skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado and especially Las Vegas. Renee enjoys watching UNC Basketball and Wii bowling & ping pong. Renee has one daughter, Jordan who is 19 years old and goes to UNCC.  "It was extremely hard for me when Jordon left for college so I am glad I have two dogs, Katie and Abbey. I love them! Both are rescues from the Greensboro animal shelter. I have had Katie for 9 years and Abbey for 4. Abbey came after reading how many dogs had been put down at the animal shelter and watching Sarah McLachlan’s commercial. Anita Weddle works in the Accounting Department and joined the Aladdin family in 1979. She’s been in the travel industry since 1976. Her favorite destinations are both in Italy – Rome and Venice. Courtney Wilkes re-joined the Aladdin family in 2011 as a Group Travel and Meeting Planner after a summer internship in 2006.  Courtney works with Aladdin’s Group Travel/Meeting Planning and Study Abroad Departments and has a love for the Caribbean and anywhere a cruise ship is sailing!  Courtney has a proven ability to satisfy the needs of clients.
