Before you leave for vacation…..

Do this!  You'll be glad you did!

Scan your passport and email it to yourself.  Just in case….

Put important telephone numbers in your cell phone….US Consulate for example.

Put your swim suit in your carry on.  Luggage delayed?  You can still enjoy the pool!

Clear off your kitchen counter.  It’s nice coming home to a clean kitchen!

Turn off your answering machine.  "Important" people have your cell phone number and you won’t have to return calls when you return.

Run your disposal, flush ALL toilets and take out the “shrimpy” trash.

We have a friend who said they always empty the diaper genie....diaper pail.

I cut off the water to the washing machine.  I'd also do the dishwasher but it's pretty impossible to get to the cutoffs there.   Nothing says returning home to a bad scene like a busted hose to your washer...
